About Bayo Yusuff
Rev. Bayo Yusuff is a man with powerful healing unction. He was born in 1952 in a city called Ibadan in Nigeria. Ibadan is the largest indigenous city with great Islamic influence in the West African sub-region. He grew up as a dynamic Muslim. As a young Muslim fanatic, at the age of twenty five, Bayo met the Lord in a very dramatic way. Before his salvation, Bayo persecuted many Christians because of his faith, training and up bringing he had in Islam.
On the Easter Sunday of 1976 precisely, Bayo had a unique encounter with the Holy Spirit on a journey in Nigeria that made him to surrender his life to Jesus and accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was thereafter baptized and discipled by a local pentecostal church called Christ Fishers of Men in Nigeria.
Rev. Bayo Yusuff went through a great deal of persecution for many years. He was given a considerable measure of grace by the Holy Spirit to endure persecution like Paul the Apostle. Since he (Bayo) also persecuted many Christians before his conversion, he therefore becomes special apostle to those who are being persecuted.
Bayo took Julie on 21 April 1979 to the altar for marriage. Their marriage is graciously blessed with three children that have also become ministers of God. All members of Bayo's family are keenly interested and actively involved in the work of the ministry which the Lord has committed to their hands.
Bayo trained to be a laboratory scientist, in the area of Biochemistry. He worked for twenty one years in the same university (Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. Nigeria) where he graduated, before he decided to embark on full time ministry work in 1998.
Bayo went through some theological training. He's a graduate of Vining College of Theology, (an Anglican seminary college in Nigeria). He also went through an in service training with the Salisbury College of Theology in England. Bayo Yusuff being a Muslim converts himself loves Muslims any where in the world. He has great passion that drives him to intercede for the Muslims.
